PHOTOS
It
was my pleasure to share my stories and photos with you on our "secret page". I guess I was pretty naive to believe that my
request that they not be reprinted elsewhere would be honored, and it makes
me sad that the majority have to suffer for the actions of the few, but
that's what it's come to.
In January we started getting emails telling us that
an online dating site was using my photo of Dan at Mystic Seaport, along with
the tag line: "Need a sugar daddy? Want a Rich Man to take care of your Every Need? We have thousands on our Site. Sign Up Today!"
I can't begin to describe to you what it felt like to see this ad.

I appreciate those of you who alerted us to the ad and sent screen shots for us to see (only members could see it), and who wrote angry emails to the dating site telling them to stop. Of course, it did no good, and I was forced to have a lawyer contact them and threaten legal action if they didn't take the photo down.
In my wildest dreams, I never saw something like this happening. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos and stories while they were here, but the time has come to take them down.
