BLACK BEAN JALAPEÑO SOUP

We loved the black bean soup at La Tertulia in Santa Fe. When they closed their doors we were two little jalapeño junkies looking for a fix. So Dan did some experimenting and came up with his own special version.

(Makes 4 servings.)

2 cans BLACK BEANS

1 can HATCH GREEN CHILES

2 cans CHICKEN BROTH

2 TBSP CHOPPED JALAPENO PEPPERS

CUMIN

GARLIC

OREGANO

BLACK AND WHITE PEPPER

CAP WHITE WINE

1 ONION, CHOPPED

2 TBSP HOT RED SALSA

 

COMBINE ALL lNGREDIENTS AND COOK FOR 15 MIN.

 

EAT LOTS OF THIS. SERVE WITH ICE WATER.
